Dr. Julie Cole Named 2026 dvm360® Veterinary Hero® in Feline Medicine

We are proud to announce that our very own Dr. Julie Cole, DVM, DACT, PhD, has been named the 2026 dvm360® Veterinary Hero® in the Feline Medicine category.

Selected by an elite committee of veterinary peers, Dr. Cole was chosen from a highly accomplished pool of candidates in recognition of her contributions to feline medicine and her dedication to advancing veterinary care for cats.

The dvm360® Veterinary Hero® program, launched in 2021, celebrates outstanding veterinary professionals whose work has helped move the profession forward. Dr. Cole will be honored alongside fellow inductees at the 6th Annual dvm360® Award Ceremony this August.

As part of this recognition, Dr. Cole will also be featured in the July/August 2026 issue of dvm360® and the Fetch Kansas City Conference Guide.

Please join us in congratulating Dr. Cole on this well-deserved honor. We are grateful for her leadership, expertise, and unwavering commitment to improving the health and well-being of cats!

Celebrating Our 50th Adoption!

We’re thrilled to share that our 50th Tabby Tea adoption has taken place! 🎉 Sebastian, a handsome and affectionate kitty, found his forever home. This milestone represents not only a new beginning for Sebastian, but also the incredible community support that has made 50 successful adoptions possible since we opened. Each adoption is a reminder of why we do what we do at our Tabby Tea Lounge—connecting cats with loving families and watching those happy stories unfold.

25 Adoptions and Counting! 🎉

We’re thrilled to celebrate our 25th cat adoption—our playful, spunky girl Cinder has found her furever home!

Cinder, a 1-year-old ball of energy, was known for her love of adventure, high perches, and making friends with every cat (and human) she met. Though she came in with her brother Sharkbait, Cinder quickly made her own mark in the lounge. We’re so happy she’s off to her next chapter!
